Curry Cleared: Warriors Star Set to Play vs. Pistons
31 Jan
Summary
- Stephen Curry cleared to play tonight against the Detroit Pistons.
- He previously missed one game due to knee soreness.
- The Warriors' offense opens up with Curry active on the floor.
Stephen Curry is set to play tonight when the Golden State Warriors face the Detroit Pistons at Chase Center. He was previously dealing with soreness in his right knee and missed one game, but has since been cleared for full action.
With Curry back and no longer on the injury report, the Warriors' offense is expected to benefit significantly. His presence on the floor opens up space for teammates, enabling easier cuts and drives to the basket. Head coach Steve Kerr can implement his usual offensive sets.
Despite absences from other players like Seth Curry and Jonathan Kuminga, the Warriors' core offensive engine is available. Curry's play is projected to lead to a high number of three-point attempts and points in the mid-20s to low-30s.
