Steelers Unveil Retro Uniforms for Primetime Showdown with Packers

On October 27, 2025, the Pittsburgh Steelers will take the field in a unique uniform combination for their highly anticipated "Sunday Night Football" matchup against the Green Bay Packers. The team is set to debut its 1933 throwback uniforms, paying homage to the franchise's early days.

The Steelers' throwback jerseys feature a gold base with black stripes and large white block letters trimmed in black on the front. The ensemble also includes beige pants and a gold matte helmet with a black stripe down the middle. Additionally, the jerseys will display the City of Pittsburgh crest on the left shoulder, further honoring the team's connection to the city.

Many Steelers players have expressed excitement about showcasing the new vintage look on the primetime stage. Edge rusher Alex Highsmith told Steelers.com, "I'm really excited for it, and to be wearing them on 'Sunday Night Football,' it's going to be awesome. Everyone's going to be able to see them.
