Kornet Sidelined for Spurs vs. Warriors Clash
1 Apr
Summary
- Kornet is out for Wednesday's game against Golden State.
- He played 10 points, five rebounds, and one assist in a prior game.
- Plumlee and Biyombo will likely get more minutes off the bench.
In a notable lineup change, the San Antonio Spurs will be without veteran player Kornet for their upcoming game against the Golden State Warriors on Wednesday. Kornet's absence was confirmed ahead of the matchup, impacting the team's rotation.
This development follows Kornet's solid performance in Monday's 129-114 victory against Chicago, where he recorded 10 points, five rebounds, and one assist. His unavailability for the first game of a back-to-back schedule means other players will likely fill the gap.
Mason Plumlee and Bismack Biyombo are now positioned to receive additional minutes from the bench, providing support behind the team's prominent player, Victor Wembanyama. The Spurs are expected to have Kornet back in the lineup for their game against the Clippers on Thursday.
