Spencer Matthews has solidified his status as a record-breaking athlete, now holding three Guinness World Records after an extraordinary feat. He successfully completed seven Ironman triathlons, each spanning a different continent, within a remarkable 21-day period. This arduous journey culminated in the freezing, challenging environment of Antarctica.
The extreme challenge, dubbed Project Se7en, involved swimming, cycling, and running segments in diverse locations including London, Arizona, Cape Town, Perth, Dubai, Rio de Janeiro, and finally, Antarctica. The initiative successfully raised funds and awareness for the suicide prevention charity James' Place, adding significant meaning to his athletic accomplishment.
While celebrating his new records, including the fastest 140.6-mile triathlon on Antarctica and the fastest time to complete a triathlon on seven continents, Matthews acknowledged missing his wife Vogue Williams' participation in I'm A Celebrity. Williams, who was also competing on the show in Australia, expressed her pride and excitement upon hearing the news from Antarctica.
