Manchester United is reportedly exploring the possibility of reappointing Ole Gunnar Solskjær as interim manager for the remainder of the season. This move comes in the wake of Ruben Amorim's surprising departure, which has left a significant gap in the team's leadership.
Solskjær, a beloved figure at Old Trafford from his playing days, is considered a strong candidate due to his history with the club. He previously served as caretaker manager, achieving considerable success before being appointed permanently. His tenure as permanent manager saw a third-place finish and a runners-up position in subsequent seasons.
While Solskjær is a prominent name, other options are also being considered. Darren Fletcher has been confirmed as the immediate interim solution for the match against Burnley. Reports suggest Fletcher might be given a chance to prove his credentials for a longer interim role, with Michael Carrick also being discussed as a potential candidate.
