Skydiver's flag snagged tree, crashed into tent

During the Folsom Pro Rodeo, a skydiver named Ross experienced a dramatic turn of events when his large American flag became entangled with a tree.

This unexpected snag caused Ross to lose control during his descent on July 2. He subsequently fell face-first into a vendor tent located close to the spectator areas, leading to a partial collapse of the tent's roof.

Organizers reported that Ross sustained only minor injuries and did not require hospitalization. Furthermore, no spectators were injured in the incident. Demonstrating remarkable resilience, Ross reportedly completed the same flag jump successfully the following night, earning a standing ovation.
