Sixers Stars Out: James & Embiid Miss Hornets Game

Philadelphia 76ers stars LeBron James and Joel Embiid were sidelined for Saturday's matchup against the Charlotte Hornets. The team announced James would miss the game due to low back/sciatica concerns, while Embiid was out with right foot plantar fasciitis. This marks the first occasion this season that both prominent players have been unavailable for the same game.

The Sixers are approaching back-to-back games cautiously, especially with Embiid and James. Coach Nick Nurse noted that James had a strong performance in the previous night's win, marking his first 20-point game as a Sixer with 20 points, 9 rebounds, and 8 assists. Other players like Jaylen Brown (questionable, left patella injury), Tacko Fall (questionable, quad), and Jabari Walker (questionable, knee) were also listed with injuries.
