Jannik Sinner has solidified his status by winning the Sunshine Double, adding the Indian Wells and Miami Open titles to his 2026 record. These victories mark his second and third titles of the year, respectively, bringing his career total to ten singles trophies.
Fellow Italian Luciano Darderi is also making waves on the tour. He is the top seed and defending champion at the ATP 250 Grand Prix Hassan II in Marrakech. Darderi recently secured a title in Santiago and is looking to defend his Marrakech crown, where he defeated Mattia Bellucci in the second round.
Darderi's strong performance continues from the previous season, where he won three titles in 2025. He is currently competing against strong opponents, including Yannick Hanfmann, whom he previously defeated for the Chile Open title earlier this season. A win in Marrakech would mark his fifth career final appearance.
