Summary
- Sinner thrashes Zverev 6-0, 6-1 in Paris Masters semi-final

- Sinner targets fifth title of 2025, aims to reclaim world No. 1 ranking

On November 1, 2025, Jannik Sinner delivered a dominant performance, thrashing reigning champion Alexander Zverev 6-0, 6-1 in the Paris Masters semi-finals. The Italian raced to a remarkable victory in just 61 minutes, putting him within one win of reclaiming the world number one ranking.
Sinner's opponent in the final will be Felix Auger-Aliassime, who reached the second Masters 1000 final of his career by beating in-form Kazakh Alexander Bublik. The two players have split their four previous meetings, with Sinner winning the past two, including at this year's US Open semi-finals.
Sinner is now on a 25-match winning streak on indoor hard courts and is targeting his fifth title of the 2025 season. He has already added the Vienna Open trophy to his earlier triumphs at the Australian Open, Wimbledon, and China Open.
Zverev, the third seed, made a dreadful start, with his forehand badly misfiring. Sinner needed just 15 minutes to take a double-break and a 3-0 lead, sealing the opening set with an ace. The German showed some resilience in the second set, but Sinner's dominance was too much to overcome, and he completed the demolition when an ailing Zverev dumped another shot into the net.
