Sharpe Sidelined Again: Blazers Guard Out vs. Pelicans
2 Apr
Summary
- Sharpe is out against the Pelicans due to a calf injury.
- He is recovering from a stress reaction in his left fibula.
- Scoot Henderson will continue to fill Sharpe's backcourt role.
Sharpe will not play in Thursday's game against the Pelicans as he continues his recovery from a stress reaction in his left fibula. He has been sidelined since early February.
The initial four-to-six-week re-evaluation period, which began on February 24, has now passed. However, the Trail Blazers have not yet provided an official update on Sharpe's progress. Given that the regular season is nearing its end, the team is likely to proceed with extreme caution regarding his return.
In Sharpe's continued absence, Scoot Henderson is expected to maintain his expanded role in the backcourt. The team appears committed to ensuring Sharpe is fully healed before he rejoins the active roster.
