Plaza acknowledged that Sevilla is entering the match in difficult circumstances, with several key players unavailable or doubtful. Despite these setbacks, the manager emphasized his team's commitment to maintaining their competitive spirit.
The manager revealed he had not yet used the 18-year statistic as motivation but recognized it highlights the difficulty of playing at the Bernabeu. He expressed a desire for his team to achieve a positive result there, which he believes would be particularly special given the team's current conviction and enthusiasm.
Plaza also praised Real Madrid's formidable individual quality and lauded Jose Mourinho's influence on the team, describing him as one of the world's leading managers who instills character in his sides. He noted that Mourinho's impact is already evident.
