Inter Milan's Title Party Heads to Bologna
23 May
Summary
- Inter Milan, already crowned Serie A champions, face Bologna.
- Relegated Pisa plays its final top-flight game against Lazio.
- Inter may rest World Cup-bound players, potentially drawing with Bologna.
Serie A champions Inter Milan are set to play their final game of the 2025-26 season away at mid-table Bologna on Saturday. Having already secured a domestic double, Inter are expected to celebrate their success, though they may field a rotated squad. Several players are slated to rest before the upcoming World Cup, increasing the possibility of a draw against a Bologna side that has shown signs of renewed form.
In another end-of-season fixture, Lazio will host relegated Pisa at the Stadio Olimpico. Lazio, who recently lost the Coppa Italia final and are marooned in mid-table, are predicted to defeat Pisa. Pisa faces immediate return to Italy's second tier after a disappointing season. This match could also mark a farewell for Lazio's head coach, who may receive a send-off from the home crowd.
