Manaea’s performances since a strong 11-strikeout game in August have been consistently poor. He has not secured a win since August 15 against the Washington Nationals, with subsequent losses to the Chicago White Sox, Milwaukee Brewers, and Rays. The veteran pitcher appears to struggle most in the fourth inning and beyond, often seeing hitters capitalize on mistakes. Despite these issues, interim manager Andy Green remains hopeful, noting Manaea's battles through tough matchups.
