27 Aug
Summary
- Seahawks sign 11 draft picks to practice squad
- Retain running back Damien Martinez and WR Ricky White III
- Linebacker Jamie Sheriff may be elevated for Week 1

As of August 27th, 2025, the Seattle Seahawks have set their 53-man roster and finalized their practice squad. Many of the names on the practice squad are players who were with the team during training camp but did not make the final cut.
The Seahawks were able to sign several key players to their practice squad, including running back Damien Martinez and wide receiver Ricky White III, both of whom were 2025 draft picks. This means the team has managed to retain all 11 of their selections from this year's NFL draft.
Another notable addition to the practice squad is linebacker Jamie Sheriff. According to reports, there is a chance Sheriff could be elevated to the active roster for the Seahawks' Week 1 matchup against the San Francisco 49ers. The team also brought back defensive tackle Quinton Bohanna, further bolstering their depth on that side of the ball.
