15 Oct
Summary
- Seahawks face offensive struggles with key players injured.
- Quarterback Sam Darnold's performance has been a major concern.
- The team is playing in classic uniforms against the Broncos.
The Seattle Seahawks are set to face the Denver Broncos in a game where they'll be sporting their classic uniforms. This matchup comes at a time when the Seahawks are grappling with considerable offensive challenges. The running back situation remains a concern, with George Holani having costly fumbles in a recent game and Zach Charbonnet still sidelined. Quarterback Sam Darnold has struggled since his return, posting a low quarterback rating and struggling with yards and touchdowns.
The offensive line's performance, affected by injuries and scheme adjustments, has also put pressure on Darnold. On the defensive side, the Seahawks will be without two linebackers, Drake Thomas and Chazz Surratt, though Tyrice Knight is expected to step in reliably. For the Seahawks to have a chance against the Broncos, establishing a strong run game, diversifying play calls, and maintaining solid pass protection and ball control will be paramount.
