Scarlets Eye Second Straight URC Win
29 Jan
Summary
- Scarlets aim for consecutive URC wins for the first time this season.
- Eighteen-year-old Carwyn Leggat-Jones to make first URC start.
- Nine Scarlets players are currently unavailable due to Six Nations duty.

Scarlets head coach Nigel Davies has expressed satisfaction with the team's progress over the past few weeks. The recent hard-fought victory at home against Ulster marked only their third win in the United Rugby Championship (URC) season, importantly lifting them from the foot of the table.
Looking to build momentum, the Scarlets are aiming to achieve back-to-back wins for the first time this season. They are scheduled to play Benetton in Treviso on Friday evening.
This fixture will provide an opportunity for young talent to shine, as nine players are currently absent due to their involvement with Wales' Six Nations squad. Notably, 18-year-old fly-half Carwyn Leggat-Jones is set to make his first URC start, with Billy McBryde providing backup.
Additionally, the team will see eleven other changes in its starting lineup. Captain Johnny Williams is confirmed to partner the fit-again Joe Roberts in the midfield.
