Summary
- Top Indian pair Satwik-Chirag Shetty withdraws from Asia Championship.
- Satwiksairaj Rankireddy is recovering from a shoulder injury.
- Two Indian women's doubles pairs also withdrew from the event.

The premier Indian men's doubles pair, Satwiksairaj Rankireddy and Chirag Shetty, will not compete in the Badminton Asia Championship. Coach Tan Kim Her confirmed on Monday that the World No. 4 duo's withdrawal is due to Rankireddy's ongoing recovery from a shoulder injury. This marks the second consecutive tournament absence for the pair, who also pulled out before the quarterfinals of the Swiss Open last month.
Following this development, Hariharan Amsakarunan and M.R. Arjun are now the sole Indian representatives in the men's doubles category. Additionally, the women's doubles partnership of Treesa Jolly and Gayatri Gopichand has also withdrawn from the championship. The specific reasons for their withdrawal have not yet been disclosed.
