Sassuolo and Cagliari are set to clash at Mapei Stadium in a significant Serie A encounter on Saturday. Both teams are currently experiencing a difficult period of form. Sassuolo, holding 10th place with 39 points from 30 matches, recently managed a 1-1 draw against Juventus, snapping a brief winning streak.
Conversely, Cagliari is in a more precarious position, sitting 15th and just three points above the relegation zone. They are on a seven-game winless streak, with their last victory occurring in January. Cagliari's recent form has yielded only two points since early February.
