Summary
- Tyrone May signs new deal with Hull KR until 2027
- May was reportedly being lined up by his brothers Taylan and Terrell at Wests Tigers
- May won 2021 NRL Premiership with Penrith Panthers

In a blow to the hopes of a May brothers reunion at Wests Tigers, Tyrone May has signed a new deal with Hull KR that will keep him at Craven Park until the end of 2027. The Samoan international was reportedly being lined up by his younger siblings, Taylan and Terrell, who are both currently playing for the Tigers, with speculation mounting that the trio were eager to play together in the NRL.
However, those rumors have now been quashed, with reports confirming that May is fully committed to Hull KR. The former Penrith Panthers player, who won the 2021 NRL Premiership, has enjoyed a successful stint with the Robins since joining in 2024, adding a Challenge Cup title to his growing résumé.
Despite admitting that the decision to recommit to Hull KR was a "tough" one, May has ultimately chosen to remain in East Hull, where he has established himself as a key player. The lure of playing alongside his brothers was a key consideration in the contract talks, but the 27-year-old has decided to continue his journey with the Super League club, dashing the dreams of a family reunion on the pitch.
