12 Nov, 2025
Summary
- Salford youth players feel closer to first team
- Salford has ex-Manchester United star Steve Bruce's son as a coach
- Former Liverpool striker Fabio Borini joins Salford on short-term deal

As of November 12th, 2025, Salford's young players are feeling more integrated with the first-team squad. One of the players remarks that the senior players "all look after us and are dead nice to us on the pitch," even when they need to be corrected. The players are also familiar with the style of play that the manager and assistant manager, Alex Bruce, want them to adopt.
Salford's coaching staff includes some familiar names. Alex Bruce, the son of former Manchester United star Steve Bruce, is a first-team coach at the club. Additionally, ex-Liverpool striker Fabio Borini joined Salford in October on a short-term deal. Borini spoke about his decision to join the club, saying he came to train and keep himself fit between contracts, and that he's embracing the "challenge" of playing in League Two football, which he's never experienced before.
Borini aims to bring his experience to the team, both on and off the pitch, to help lead by example and share his knowledge with his new teammates. He's open to learning from them as well, as he adapts to the unique characteristics of the League Two level.
