23 Oct
Summary
- St Kilda has officially informed Gold Coast of no interest in Jamarra Ugle-Hagan.
- Bobby Hill was also reportedly not a serious consideration for the Saints.
- West Coast and Fremantle have also confirmed they won't pursue Bobby Hill.

St Kilda has definitively ruled out pursuing either Jamarra Ugle-Hagan or Bobby Hill, quashing recent speculation linking the players to the club. SEN reporter Sam Edmund revealed that the Saints have formally communicated their lack of interest to the Gold Coast Suns regarding Ugle-Hagan.
Edmund further elaborated that St Kilda has informed Gold Coast that they have no intentions to pursue Ugle-Hagan, who is expected to remain with the Suns. The reporter also indicated that Bobby Hill, who left Collingwood in July, was never a primary target for the Moorabbin club.
Adding to Hill's uncertain future, both West Coast and Fremantle have confirmed they will not be making a move for the Norm Smith medallist. This comes as the AFL prepares to introduce a Category B rookie list spot for First Nations players in 2027.
