Rory McIlroy, winner of the 2025 Masters, has unveiled his menu for the upcoming Champions Dinner, scheduled for April 7, 2026. This annual tradition gathers past Masters champions and the Augusta National chairman for a special meal preceding the tournament.
McIlroy's culinary choices are extensive, beginning with four appetizers: elk sliders, rock shrimp tempura, peach and ricotta flatbread, and his mother's recipe for bacon-wrapped dates. A Yellowfin tuna carpaccio with foie gras follows, before guests select their main course.
Main course options include a premium Wagyu Filet Mignon or Seared Salmon. These will be served alongside classic accompaniments such as Brussels sprouts, carrots, onion rings, and Irish champ, a traditional blend of mashed potatoes, scallions, milk, and butter. McIlroy decided to incorporate elk into the appetizers rather than the main to appeal to a wider range of palates.
For dessert, attendees can look forward to sticky toffee pudding served with vanilla ice cream and warm toffee sauce. McIlroy shared that his inspiration for the elk sliders came from a recent shipment he enjoyed while preparing for the Masters last year.
