Summary
- Ronaldo wants Al-Nassr to sign Rodrygo from Real Madrid
- Arsenal linked to Brazil wingers Martinelli and Rodrygo
- Real Madrid set £70m price tag for Rodrygo

Cristiano Ronaldo, who recently signed a new two-year contract with Saudi club Al-Nassr, has reportedly called on his new team to challenge Arsenal in a summer transfer raid for Real Madrid's Rodrygo. The Gunners have been generating plenty of speculation around Brazilian wingers, with Gabriel Martinelli potentially moving to Al-Nassr for a reported €85 million (£73m/$100m).
However, Arsenal are now said to be interested in signing Rodrygo, another Brazilian talent, from Real Madrid. The Spanish club has placed a £70m (€80m/$96m) price tag on the 24-year-old forward. Ronaldo, who is eager to win major silverware in the Middle East, believes Rodrygo would be a better option for Al-Nassr compared to Martinelli.
Rodrygo is likely to leave Madrid during the upcoming summer transfer window, having struggled for playing time under Xabi Alonso at the recent FIFA Club World Cup. It remains to be seen whether the young Brazilian would be open to a move to Saudi Arabia at this stage of his career, or if he would prefer to stay in Europe.
