Ronaldo Returns for Portugal's World Cup Prep

Al Nassr captain Cristiano Ronaldo will lead Portugal's 26-man squad for the March international window. The legendary forward, who is the all-time leading scorer in men's international football, missed the final World Cup qualifier in November due to suspension. He will now be available for upcoming matches against Mexico and the United States, which are key parts of Portugal's World Cup preparations. Manager Roberto Martinez highlighted that these matches are essential for finalizing the 26-player World Cup list from a current pool of 40 potential candidates. Ronaldo's inclusion also means he is set to become the first player in history to participate in six World Cups.
