On the October 7th, 2025 edition of WWE Monday Night RAW, the final show before the Crown Jewel pay-per-view, several major storylines and rivalries were advanced.
Roman Reigns, the reigning Undisputed WWE Universal Champion, opened the show and addressed the recent attack on him by The Vision at the Clash at the Castle event. Reigns was ready to take his revenge, and Paul Heyman then announced that Reigns would face Bronson Reed in an Australian Street Fight at Crown Jewel. The segment ended with Reed rushing to the ring to brawl with Reigns, but the champion gained the upper hand.
In another match, Becky Lynch, known as "The Man," suffered an embarrassing loss to Maxxine Dupri. Lynch had dominated the match, but a moment of showboating allowed Dupri to capitalize and win by count-out, leaving Lynch humiliated.
Elsewhere on the card, Kairi Sane, with the help of her former Kabuki Warriors partner Asuka, defeated IYO Sky in a hard-fought contest. Additionally, AJ Styles secured a victory and then hyped his upcoming match with John Cena at Crown Jewel, promising it would be a memorable final encounter between the two legends.
