Roma Eye €30M Belgian Star Nicolò Tresoldi

Roma has identified Nicolò Tresoldi as a potential target to strengthen their forward line, particularly if Artem Dovbyk departs. Club Brugge is seeking around €30 million for the promising 21-year-old, a fee that Roma might be willing to invest. Tresoldi, who has never played in Italy despite being born there, moved to Belgium in 2025 for €7.5 million. Last season, he recorded an impressive 23 goals and 9 assists across 58 matches, also contributing significantly to the U-21 national team with 12 goals in 24 appearances.

The potential transfer of Tresoldi is closely linked to the future of Artem Dovbyk. Dovbyk, who earns a substantial €3.5 million annual salary, has suitors in Spain and is also being monitored by Genoa. Roma is actively seeking to offload Dovbyk to free up funds and space in their squad. While a loan with salary contribution is a possibility, the club prefers a permanent sale to recoup investment.

In parallel, Roma is also considering less expensive alternatives. Andrea Pinamonti, expected to leave Sassuolo, is valued between €15-20 million and is also a target for Lazio. Fiorentina's Roberto Piccoli is another forward on Roma's shortlist. However, the club's primary focus may remain on acquiring talented young prospects like Tresoldi.
