Roma and Juventus are reportedly monitoring Samuel Wiafe, a highly-rated young midfielder from Genoa. Wiafe, born in 2008, has emerged as a talent to watch, recently securing a regular spot in Genoa's starting lineup. His impressive performances have not gone unnoticed by scouts from both Serie A giants.
This summer, Genoa acquired Wiafe from Modena for a fee of approximately €2.5 million. He has since featured in Genoa's last five matches, including their recent 2-0 victory against Roma. Following that game, Roma manager Daniele De Rossi publicly acknowledged Wiafe's distinct playing style.
Roma's interest in the young prospect predates De Rossi's recent comments, with their scouts observed closely watching Wiafe at the Ferraris stadium in late October. This sustained attention highlights the growing anticipation surrounding the midfielder's potential development.
