Rockland High School is preparing to celebrate the remarkable accomplishments of its Athletic Hall of Fame Class of 2025. The induction ceremony, scheduled for November 15, 2025, will honor an extraordinary group of athletes, coaches, and contributors whose dedication and achievements have left a lasting impact on Rockland's sports community and beyond.
The 2025 Hall of Fame class represents a diverse range of sports and accolades, from state champions and national standouts to influential coaches and community leaders. Standout inductees include Tyler, a basketball and track star named the 2012-2013 Massachusetts Gatorade Player of the Year, and Terrence, a dominant force in track and field who became one of the greatest hurdlers in Division III history.
The class also features Jeanine, a standout student-athlete turned highly accomplished coach with over 20 years of experience, and Brian, a two-sport standout in football and wrestling who set school and conference records at the collegiate level. The list of honorees continues with Glenn, a multi-sport star who excelled in basketball and baseball, and Kyra, a prolific scorer and leader for the Rockland girls basketball team.
The ceremony will also recognize Trish, a standout soccer player who has become a respected coach, and Jim, a beloved educator and coach who made a lasting impact on generations of Rockland students. Finally, the Hall of Fame will induct Lt. A. Scott MacKinlay, a towering figure in Rockland athletics and education who served as a teacher, coach, athletic director, and principal from 1969 to 1995.
