Robert Saleh, the newly appointed 20th head coach of the Tennessee Titans, believes this team represents the ideal opportunity for him, learning from his past experiences. He stated that his time with the New York Jets provided immense growth, making him better prepared for this role.
The Titans organization sought a leader with high character, integrity, and a football IQ to build a winning culture and foster accountability. Saleh's introduction on January 29, 2026, comes after the team's recent struggles, finishing 3-14 for the past two seasons.
Saleh has hired Brian Daboll as offensive coordinator to aid in the development of quarterback Cam Ward, the 2025 No. 1 overall pick. Saleh intends to support Ward by building a strong defense and run game, drawing a parallel to the early career of Tom Brady.
