Rinku's Javelin Journey: From Bhadohi Roots to National Medalist

Rinku, a native of Gopiganj, Bhadohi, has defied the odds to emerge as a rising star in the world of javelin throwing. Born in 1998 to a truck driver father, Rinku spent his early years in a modest one-room house, sharing the space with eight siblings. Despite the family's limited resources, which included relying on well water and having only basic electricity, Rinku's passion for sports, particularly cricket and javelin throwing, shone through.

Rinku's natural athletic abilities soon caught the attention of local coaches, and he went on to become a junior national javelin medalist. Recognizing his potential, Rinku was later accepted into the prestigious Guru Gobind Singh Sports College in Lucknow, where he continued to hone his skills and pursue his dreams.
