Mast has been instrumental in the Cornhuskers' successful 20-2 season, contributing significantly to their No. 9 national ranking. His performance stats include averaging 14.1 points, 5.9 rebounds, and 3.0 assists per game.
Remarkably, Mast is one of only two active college players to have amassed over 1,600 career points and 1,000 career rebounds. The selection process will narrow the list to five finalists in March, with the ultimate winner chosen by a dedicated committee.
