Sal Stewart has etched his name in the Cincinnati Reds' record books during his impressive rookie season in 2026. On Friday, he broke the long-standing rookie RBI record of 101, which was previously held by Jim Greengrass since 1953. Stewart's historic performance came in a game against the Chicago Cubs at Wrigley Field. Stewart also surpassed Joey Votto for second place on the Reds' rookie home run list with 29 home runs this season. With 27 games remaining, he has a strong possibility of breaking Frank Robinson's 1956 record of 38 home runs.
