Red Wings Turn to Horcoff as Interim GM

He will report directly to Chris Ilitch, the Red Wings Governor and CEO, during this interim period.

This transition also sees Steve Yzerman moving into the role of Senior Advisor to the Governor and CEO. Yzerman will continue to offer his expertise as a valuable resource to the organization's leadership. The Red Wings organization emphasized that this change was driven by a need for a new vision in hockey leadership, and the search for a permanent General Manager is ongoing, with Horcoff remaining a candidate for the role.
