Red Sox Trade Talks: Pitching Depth & Infield Focus

As spring training nears, the Boston Red Sox are actively involved in trade discussions, particularly seeking to bolster their infield. The team is also fielding significant interest from other clubs regarding their considerable starting pitching depth. Pitchers such as Brayan Bello and Patrick Sandoval, along with reliever Jordan Hicks, have reportedly surfaced in trade talks.

Bello, under contract until 2031, and Sandoval, recently acquired as he rehabs from Tommy John surgery, represent valuable assets. The Red Sox's decision to add starting pitchers Garrett Crochet, Sonny Gray, and Ranger Suárez has created a crowded rotation, potentially making them willing to move established arms.
