Ravens' Jackson OUT, Huntley Starts vs. Falcons
12 Oct
Summary
- Lamar Jackson ruled out with an ankle sprain.
- Tyler Huntley will start at quarterback for Baltimore.
- Ravens WR Zay Flowers is expected to play despite a foot injury.
As of 2026-10-12T04:06:35+00:00, the Baltimore Ravens received some good news before their game against the Atlanta Falcons, with wide receiver Zay Flowers expected to play despite a lingering foot injury and a previous hamstring issue. Flowers has been a key offensive player, with 18 catches for 352 yards and two touchdowns in three games this season.
However, the team will be without their starting quarterback, Lamar Jackson, who was officially ruled out due to an ankle sprain sustained in a prior game against Tennessee. This means Tyler Huntley will take over as the starting quarterback. Adding to the defensive challenges, outside linebacker Trey Hendrickson is also out with a finger injury, although cornerback Marlon Humphrey has returned to practice.
The Falcons are favored by 2.5 points in a game projected to be low-scoring, with a total set at 45.5. With Jackson sidelined, the Ravens are expected to rely on a run-heavy approach, featuring Derrick Henry, and utilize Flowers on quick passes. Mark Andrews and Rashod Bateman will also be critical in supporting Huntley, who will need to manage the game effectively and avoid turnovers.
