Ravens Plummet: AFC North Relegation!
26 Oct
Summary
- Baltimore Ravens have fallen to last place in the AFC North.
- The team needs Lamar Jackson back for upcoming games.
- Multiple AFC North teams won their recent matchups.
The Baltimore Ravens have experienced a significant drop in the AFC North standings, falling to last place. This decline follows a string of losses, exacerbated by offensive struggles that have yielded a combined 23 points over their past two games. The team's playoff hopes are increasingly dependent on the return of their star quarterback, Lamar Jackson, for crucial upcoming matchups against the Buffalo Bills and Jacksonville Jaguars.
Currently, the Ravens sit in ninth place in the overall AFC playoff picture, tied with the New England Patriots. This situation is particularly concerning as all other AFC North teams, including the Cleveland Browns, Pittsburgh Steelers, and Cincinnati Bengals, secured victories in their recent contests. The Bengals have notably leapfrogged the Ravens in the division standings, pushing Baltimore further down.
As of the current timeframe, the Ravens' record stands at 4-3. Their recent performance has seen them lose ground in the competitive AFC playoff race, where teams like the Kansas City Chiefs and Buffalo Bills continue to lead. The upcoming weeks will be critical for Baltimore as they aim to reverse their downward trend and climb back into contention.
