Ravens' Madubuike cleared for return after neck injury

Ravens defensive tackle Nnamdi Madubuike has received medical clearance to return to practice, marking a significant step in his recovery from a neck injury sustained in Week 2 of last season. After nearly 10 months of uncertainty, independent doctors have approved his return, with the possibility of him participating in drills as early as next week. General Manager Eric DeCosta had previously voiced confidence in Madubuike's progress. The two-time Pro Bowler's potential comeback offers a ray of hope for the Ravens' defensive line. The team also placed several other key players on the active/physically unable to perform list. These include nose tackles Travis Jones, who is recovering from surgery after leading the team with five sacks last year, and John Jenkins. Linebacker Teddye Buchanan, outside linebacker Adisa Isaac, and cornerback Bilhal Kone are also on the list with various injuries, as is center Corey Bullock, who will start camp on the non-football illness list.
