Raven Johnson, a rookie for the Indiana Fever, is adapting to the WNBA's speed and physicality. In the Fever's subsequent 111-87 victory over the Los Angeles Sparks, the Westlake High School alumna matched her second-highest assist total with four. Selected as the No. 10 overall pick in the 2026 WNBA Draft, Johnson provides a valuable presence in the locker room. With teammates Aliyah Boston, Kelsey Mitchell, and Caitlin Clark earning starting spots in the 2026 WNBA All-Star Game, Johnson's ability to integrate with the established stars is crucial. To celebrate the All-Star selections, the Indiana Fever shared a social media video on X. In the clip, teammates offered congratulatory messages to the chosen starters. At one point in the video, Johnson shared intimate nicknames for Clark, referring to her as 'sister' and 'auntie' before unveiling 'mamacita' as a new endearment for the former Iowa Hawkeyes standout. The Fever are scheduled to play the Las Vegas Aces on Sunday at 7 p.m. ET in T-Mobile Arena.
