Raphinha Matches Ronaldo's La Liga Scoring Record
26 Oct
Summary
- Raphinha scored 13 goals in his first ten La Liga games.
- This feat mirrors Cristiano Ronaldo's 2014-2015 season.
- Raphinha's goal was Barcelona's only strike in the match.
Raphinha, the Brazilian forward for Barcelona, has etched his name in La Liga history by scoring 13 goals within the first ten league matches of the season. This impressive scoring rate has not been seen since Cristiano Ronaldo achieved a similar feat for Real Madrid during the 2014-2015 campaign, where he found the net 17 times in his opening ten games.
While Barcelona suffered a 1-2 defeat against Real Madrid in their recent league encounter, Raphinha managed to score the team's only goal. This individual achievement, however, places him alongside Ronaldo in a rare scoring category, underscoring his significant impact on the league this season.
The 2014-2015 season saw Cristiano Ronaldo set a formidable benchmark, scoring 17 goals in his initial ten league appearances. For over a decade, this record remained unbroken until Raphinha's current stellar performance began to challenge it, showcasing his exceptional form.
