Cardona brings extensive experience to the Rams, having played 10 seasons and 160 games with the New England Patriots before spending last season with the Miami Dolphins. Throughout his career, he has recorded 25 tackles and one forced fumble. He also has 13 postseason appearances and has won two Super Bowls.
His journey to the NFL began when he was selected by the Patriots in the 2015 draft. Cardona played collegiately at Navy, where he was commissioned as a lieutenant in the Navy Reserve. He will now join new special teams coach Bubba Ventrone's unit, replacing Jake McQuaide.
