Josh Brown has officially begun his tenure as the new head coach for the Rams, marking the first change in leadership in 27 years at Fresno City College. He takes the reins from retiring Hall of Famer Tony Caviglia. Brown, who has over two decades of coaching experience, sees this junior college role as a chance to significantly impact young athletes' lives, drawing from his own experience as a junior college product.
The Rams' season kicked off with a dramatic road victory against Sierra. Trailing early, the team secured a win with a crucial 'tush push' play with only eight seconds remaining. Quarterback Christian English described the team's elated reaction on the bus, citing it as a testament to their determination.
Following their opening win, the Rams achieved a 24-10 victory in their home opener. This marks their second win of the season, as they aim for a championship under Coach Brown's guidance in his first year leading the team.
