Batting Coach Defends Sooryavanshi's Form

Vaibhav Sooryavanshi's explosive start to the Indian Premier League has seen a decline, with recent performances yielding 30s and 40s but no significant scores since April 25. Despite this trend, Rajasthan Royals batting coach Vikram Rathour is confident in the young player's abilities.

Rathour addressed concerns that slower balls might be Sooryavanshi's kryptonite, calling it an unfounded assertion. He welcomed bowlers to employ such tactics, believing it would help Sooryavanshi improve his game. The coach highlighted that while pitch conditions can favor variations, Sooryavanshi's overall batting is valuable.

Affirming his faith, Rathour stated that the team is content with Sooryavanshi's batting and preparation. He expressed hope that a major innings is imminent, given the player's current form and dedication, emphasizing that his contribution with quick starts is already beneficial.
