Nick Holz has been appointed as the new pass game coordinator for the Las Vegas Raiders. This move brings a familiar figure back to the Raiders' coaching staff under head coach Klint Kubiak. Holz previously spent 10 seasons with the Raiders from 2012 to 2021, primarily focused on coaching wide receivers.
Most recently, Holz served as the offensive coordinator for the Tennessee Titans for two seasons. During his time in Tennessee, he coached top draft pick Cam Newton and contributed to a running game that featured 1,000-yard seasons from Tony Pollard and Calvin Ridley. His prior experience also includes a stint as offensive coordinator for UNLV in 2022.
During Holz's previous tenure with the Raiders, receiver Hunter Renfrow earned Pro Bowl honors in 2021, and Amari Cooper achieved significant receiving milestones in 2015 and 2016, including two consecutive Pro Bowl selections. The Raiders' passing offense ranked sixth in the league in 2021.
