Veteran Champ Dos Anjos Fights for Revival

Rafael dos Anjos is making his return to the octagon on October 3 at UFC 332 in Salt Lake City. The former UFC lightweight champion will compete in a welterweight bout against Alexander Hernandez. This marks dos Anjos' first fight since suffering a torn ACL and a technical knockout loss in just 90 seconds at UFC 308 in October 2024.

Currently on a three-fight losing streak, dos Anjos aims to turn his career around. This upcoming fight will be the 50th professional bout of his career. Alexander Hernandez, who lost his last outing via unanimous decision in April 2026, holds a 10-8 UFC record. The event at Delta Center will also feature matchups including Deiveson Figueiredo vs. Payton Talbott and Marvin Vettori vs. Ismail Naurdiev.
