The No. 2-seeded Purdue Boilermakers men's basketball team is set to compete in the Elite Eight on March 28. Their star point guard, Braden Smith, a senior, has been vital to their success, averaging 14.3 points and 8.9 assists per game. Smith's leadership has been evident, guiding Purdue through tough NCAA Tournament wins even when his shooting faltered. His girlfriend, Grace Lux, a student athlete on Purdue's swim team, has been a prominent supporter throughout the tournament. Lux has shown her allegiance with social media posts and custom Purdue-themed apparel, including a personalized jean jacket. This unwavering support could be a significant factor as Purdue faces their toughest challenge yet in the tournament.
