20 Apr
Summary
- Bradley Barcola has offered himself to Barcelona via his agent.
- Barcola's agent previously replaced Jorge Mendes, causing friction.
- A transfer fee of at least €80 million is expected for Barcola.
FC Barcelona is actively seeking a left-winger for the summer transfer window. As a potential option, PSG winger Bradley Barcola has made himself available to the Catalan club through his agent, Moussa Sissoko. Sissoko, who took over Barcola's representation approximately one year ago, has reportedly faced disagreements with PSG's sporting management this season.
Despite Barcola's current contract running until 2028, Sissoko's stance suggests negotiations for an extension may be challenging. Several European clubs are monitoring the situation, with Sissoko open to offers. Barcelona, while recalling past dealings with Sissoko regarding Ousmane Dembele, is considering the opportunity.
Key considerations for Barcelona include sporting director Deco's assessment of Barcola's fit and the club's financial ability. A transfer is anticipated to command a fee of at least €80 million if PSG agrees to a sale.
