Summary
- Over 780 people were detained across France following PSG's victory celebrations.

Paris celebrated Paris Saint-Germain's second Champions League title win with massive gatherings near the Eiffel Tower. The jubilant atmosphere was marred by violent clashes that erupted overnight across France, resulting in hundreds of detentions and injuries to police officers.
Interior minister Laurent Nunez reported that 780 individuals were detained nationwide, with 480 arrests in Paris alone. Fifty-seven officers were wounded, mostly with minor injuries, as fans engaged in setting fires and vandalizing shops. Despite these incidents, most celebrations across the capital were peaceful, particularly the large, well-attended event at the Champ de Mars.
The team, returning from Budapest where they defeated Arsenal in a penalty shootout, received a hero's welcome. Players, including captain Marquinhos and coach Luis Enrique, were greeted by cheering crowds and presented the trophy. They are scheduled to be hosted by French President Emmanuel Macron at the Elysee presidential palace.
Authorities reported disturbances in approximately 15 cities. While the majority of Parisians celebrated with joy, a smaller number caused disturbances, leading to vandalism and the setting of fires. The Paris prosecutors' office placed 306 people in custody for offenses including assault, vandalism, and disturbing public order, with 81 minors among them.
