On October 31, 2025, South Africa took a 1-0 lead in the three-match T20I series against Pakistan with a convincing 55-run victory in the second match at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore.
After being put in to bat first, the Proteas posted a formidable total of 194 runs in their 20 overs. Opener Reeza Hendricks laid the foundation with a 60-run knock off just 40 balls, while all-rounder George Linde provided the late impetus with a quickfire 36 off 22 deliveries. The South African bowlers then produced a clinical performance to bundle out Pakistan for 139 in 18.1 overs.
Former Pakistan captain Babar Azam's lean patch continued as he was dismissed for a two-ball duck by Corbin Bosch. Lizaad Williams and Bosch were the pick of the South African bowlers, sharing five wickets between them.
