Prayagraj Hosts 40th Indira Marathon with Top Runners Competing

On November 19, 2025, the city of Prayagraj will host the 40th edition of the prestigious All India Prize Money Indira Marathon. The event, jointly organized by the Athletics Federation of India, UP Sports Department, and Prayagraj District Administration, is expected to draw top runners, including past champions, to compete for the lucrative cash prizes.

The 42.195 km marathon will follow the same route as the previous year, starting from near the historical Anand Bhawan at 6:30 am and passing through several landmarks before concluding at the Madan Mohan Malaviya Stadium. Each runner will receive a free electronic chip to record their exact timing.
