Will Power has officially begun his integration with Andretti Global, marking his first day with the team on January 1st. After concluding his contract with Team Penske, Power was seen in his new team gear, embracing the start of his 2026 season. He is set to drive the No. 26 Andretti Global Honda, a car previously helmed by Colton Herta.
This move signifies a new chapter for the two-time IndyCar champion, who spent 17 years with his previous team. Power's immediate focus will be on his debut at the Rolex 24 at Daytona on January 24-25, where he will compete in the No. 75 Mercedes-AMG GT3 Evo for 75 Express.
This one-off Daytona appearance follows a successful partnership with 75 Express last October. While this race is his first competition of 2026, Power is expected to commence simulator work with Andretti Global well before the IndyCar season begins, preparing for his new role.
